In 2019, Blexx Entertainment introduced me to the entertainment industry, prompting the important question: “What do you do?” My response was always straightforward: support. This role motivated me to create my page, @wordamouf_mking, where I would highlight small businesses and entrepreneurs in the DFW area.

 

Reflecting on the question, "What do you do?" I found myself struggling with insecurities within social media and the entertainment industry. Then, I encountered a man's story about launching his t-shirt business, which sparked my own creativity.

Hashtags, made famous by social media, seemed like the ideal method to express my insecurities. After much contemplation, it struck me: BYOB, already laden with various connotations, could be an intriguing talking point. Eventually, I settled on "Be Your Own Be-U-Teeful." The message is clear—never attempt to conform to someone else's beauty, for you possess your own unique allure.
